About us

The organisations above are some of the good causes we are supporting this year

East Cliff Rotary is a friendly and active group, mainly from the local business community, enjoying lively and varied activities.  We follow Rotary's main purpose, seeking out and assisting people less fortunate than ourselves in the local community, in the wider national region and internationally, within a context of Fun, Fellowship and Mutual Support.

We meet regularly, socially and more formally working on projects to benefit those less fortunate than ourselves. This year, we are providing special support for Bournemouth Blind Society, The Crumbs Training Project and The Salvation Army BH1 Project. Other good causes we will also be supported, including, Avonwood Primary School, Avonbourne Girl's Academy, Avonbourne Boy's Academy, Mytime Young Carers, Bo Children's Hospital, Sierra Leone, which we helped to establish, Narayan Devi Secondary School, Nepal and End Polio Now.

Rotary is the largest worldwide organisation of volunteers putting something back into society and the community. If you are even mildly interested in joining in this quest, please visit us and see for yourself.  We usually enjoy a sit down meal first; then club business notices; followed by a speaker, sometimes humorous, sometimes more serious but always interesting and stimulating.

Our website shows more about what we do, how we get involved in supporting others, and the social events we organise.

We will give you a very warm welcome at our Club at The West Hants Club, Roslin Road South, Bournemouth BH3 7EF at 7pm for 7.30pm every first & third Thursday evening. Please see our programme on the menu above or contact Secretary Mike Crockett for more information on 01202 474715

We look forward to you visiting us and enjoying your company at one or more of our meetings.
